For more than 20 years, I worked as a Registered Nurse, much of that time at the Veterans Administration Hospital, where I walked alongside patients and families during some of their most difficult and emotional moments. That experience shaped how I approach people, with patience, empathy, and a deep respect for dignity, especially during times of change. After years in healthcare, I felt called to continue serving others in a way that allowed me to be more present and hands-on with families navigating major life transitions. Caring Transitions resonated with me because it brings organization and clarity to situations that often feel overwhelming. My nursing background taught me how important it is to listen first, explain options clearly, and help people feel supported every step of the way. My goal is to provide a steady, calming presence when things feel uncertain.
